You can enable mobile data in your android in many ways. Now let me explain them one at a time.You can enable mobile data from Settings in your device.
Head over to Settings and tap on the option ‘Data usage’. In this screen, you can find the complete details of data consumed on your device. You could also see the option Mobile Data above the graph depicting the data usage.This option lets you turn on mobile data in your device. After turning on,you could see a symbol in the notification bar confirming that you are connected to internet and you have successfully enabled mobile data. Path is Settings > Data usage > Mobile data.
You can also achieve the same by navigating to Settings and selecting the option More… Now tap on the option ‘Mobile networks’ which will take you to a screen where you can configure your network settings and regulate data usage.Check the option saying Enable data access over mobile network to turn on mobile data.After checking that, you can see that your device gets connected to internet. Problem you might face while trying to enable mobile data in android
If your device is not getting connected to internet using mobile data even after enabling mobile data using the above procedure then it is clear that the problem is with APN settings in your device. You can configure your APN’s using the option Access Point Names as seen in the above screenshot. If you do not have any idea about these settings,then contact the customer care of your carrier.They will send you configuration settings and on enabling them you could access mobile data in your android.
