Chrome iOS app Gets Airprint and Many More Features

Last week Google has updated its chrome iOS app with sharing and history feature. And another update with many more features has arrived yesterday. The latest version 26.0.1410.50 of chrome includes features like Air Printing, Google Cloud Print, Full Screen Browsing and also it allows the user to save any web page as a PDF file to your Google Drive Account.

The full screen browsing feature provides more viewing space on the browser. Scrolling the page up gives more viewing space by hiding the address bar and by scrolling down or by tapping on the top of the page, the address bar reappears. This feature appears simple but it is more useful and advantageous for videos and for online games when it is more important to avoid distraction created by the browser’s UI.

As far as printing of web page is concerned, Chrome provides two options in its menu- Air Printing and Google Cloud Printing. Using Google Cloud Printing, user can save any webpage into his Google Drive account and print it.

Earlier Chrome for iOS used to have WebKit browser engine but recently it gave up the webkit browser engine project and developed its own engine-Blink. This change is not going to effect the browser as more and more add ons are being added up to it.

The latest features are expected to provide stability, improve the performance and security of the browser and fixes the bugs.

So, Don’t Blink otherwise u may miss the update….
