Microsoft Launches XBOX One
After the long wait, Microsoft’s Xbox One is finally here. On Tuesday, Microsoft launched its next version of Xbox – Xbox One – nearly 8 years after the launch of Xbox 360. The latest console from the Microsoft is expected to give a hard time to its rivals- Sony’s PlayStation 4 which is expected to come out this year and Nintendo’s Wii U.
Xbox One is a complete entertainment package as Microsoft this time has focused more on entertainment element rather than on gaming system. The console comes with the mega hit games, popular TV shows etc., making it the All in One Entertainment System.
The gaming controller was enhanced with 40 innovative technologies. The new controller is packed up with the new Impulse Trigger, Thumbsticks, D-pad.
Thanks to the Cloud technology that all the stuff related to games can be accessed from anywhere.
Coming to the specifications, Xbox One is powered by x86 8 core processor, comes with a whopping 8 GB DDR3 RAM, Blue-ray/DVD combo drive, 500 GB Hard Disk Drive, USB 3.0.
The new generation Kinect sensor present in the Xbox One allows the user to control the console using the voice and gesture commands. One of the best feature of Xbox One is that it can connect and interact with the television allowing the user to move from games to movies smoothly and also this console is Skype enabled.
It has been announced that legendary director Steven Spielberg would be working on Live-action Halo series on Xbox One. It is expected that this latest console would offer many more smash hit games such as next version of one of the all time popular game ‘Call Of Duty’ etc.
The release date of Xbox One is not yet announced but the good news is that it is going to be unveiled this year.
